Cyberbullying Session – November 6 at Link

The dangers of cyberbullying — bullying through the use of electronic devices such as cell phones, computers, video gaming systems, and the internet — continue to escalate as technology use increases.  In fact, it is now estimated that as many as forty percent of children and teenagers between the ages of 10 and 16 will be the victims of cyberbullying this year.  In an effort to address this issue and offer ready-to-use strategies to protect your children, we are excited to invite you to meet with Officer Mark Robinson and Detective Charles Owens from the Clarkstown Police Department. Officer Robinson and Detective Owens will be here at Link in the Library, on November 6th at 6:30 pm.  This presentation will provide you with the information you need to protect your children from the very real and very devastating effects of cyberbullying.  We expect the meeting and discussion to last approximately one hour and we hope that you can attend.
